RW,

RE: "Well, there's a new thing goin' around on credit, it's needs to be paid back and serviced."

I think many people will find this out the hard way.

I have been watching more business programs lately and frankly have been stunned to hear the logic (or should I say total lack thereof) of many of these "experts" talking about the economy or specific stocks. I just don't think most people realize the economic environment we are now in, and the ramifications this will have going forward. I was watching one show today and the main reason they thought that 2003 would be a good year for the stock market in general was because historically the year before an election is good for stocks. That may well be the case, but is that a sufficient lone rationale for being bullish? The business programs are also in a lather about the consequences of the proposed dividend taxation rollback. And of course one of the people thought JPM was a good buy at these levels, in part because of the dividend.
