They are accepted as equals by me, and by all the people of my acquaintance. The people who consider them as less than equal will eventually be as marginalized as the people who consider blacks to be inferior, and, in fact, may already be so marginalized.

I'm not the one screaming anything. I merely refuse to discriminate against people because of their sexual preferences. Like sexism, and racism, I imagine that this too shall pass.

What you are really saying is that you cannot accept them as equals. And I must say, I think that's too bad. There are many reasons to be prejudiced against people that makes sense(and by that I mean "pre judge people"), but prejudices against groups that encompass large numbers of diverse people on the basis of one trait, be it racial, or sexual, or religious, has always struck me as useless and odd.
