I think environmentalists are OK too. I pointed that out in my last letter to Osama bin Laden. I told him that it was primarily environmentalists who were promoting the drilling for oil in the Middle East as they did not want it done in their own country and they needed lots to keep their SUv's running. I told him he should be grateful to the Sierra Club for the US presence in Saudi Arabia and their enormous benefit to the country of his birth. The fact that he was able to get rich with his construction company was a direct result of the US buying oil off SA and allowing it to spend lots of money on projects he contracted for. I urged him to get in touch with the Sierra Club himself and see if he could help them out.

One hand washes the other.

While that made fascinating reading, Santi, I have YET to meet an enviro/whacko I could be in the same acreage with, let alone "hug."

And before you go blaming "Bush" for it you posted--may I remind you---it isn't "Bush" that needs it.
He can't burn that much methane if he stayed up 24/7 and twice that on Sundays.

If the enviro whackos are serious, they will permit mining of PMs which will spur solar power and fuel cell usage...the cleanest energy of all. Afterall, it is PGM coatings and PM platings which make all those little photocells crank out the amperage.

Alas...I probably won't live to see such sanity...but I can hope.

<<maybe the environmentalists are not such a bad bunch,>>

Doesn't it depend on the enviro-nut? Prevention / ending of building drilling mining grazing logging or... on Federal land is one thing, but when the same actions happen on private land it becomes nothing less than theft!
