FERC was an impotent body. All part of the fix. Enron and their friends made sure FERC didn't know jack sh*t about what was really going on. FERC now is an even MORE impotent body. They only awarded California 1.8 billion after everyone knows we got ripped for at least 20 billion. If Davis had gotten a fair settlement like 15 billion then Calif could at least minimize the debt. But remember too Enron types send much of their cash to tax havens. So we'd need to go there. I'm sure Kenny Lay has at least 50 million in the Caymans. As he walks free and enjoys the new year. And Bush denies he ever knew him.
