Who hates the market here?
You judging sentiment from one clown free board?
What was your call last year?
What was your call the year before?
Did you call for two huge down years, or were you in the crowd of analysts calling for up huge? I do not know, just asking and I expect you to be honest about it.
What were your actual estimates for the Naz, the Dow, and the S&P for the last 2 years.

You say sentiment is bad, but 90-95% of analysts polled expect an up year. That is a fact. Is that bearish sentiment. Does it take 120% of analysts to satisfy you?

You also never answered my questions about the PE then vs now, debt levels then vs now, pent up demand then vs now etc.

If you think sentiment on the CFZ is mainstream America, then you are likely in fantasy land.

Look I do not care whether or not you are bullish or bearish, I just want some facts.

1) Let's see your forecast for 2001
(At the beginning of 2001 what was your end of year forecast for the DOW, S&P, and Naz?)
2) Let's see your forecast for 2002
(At the beginning of 2002 what was your end of year forecast for the DOW, S&P, and Naz?)
3) Let's see your forecast for 2003
(what is your current forecast for the DOW, S&P, and Naz?)
4) Explain how you think the sentiment is too bearish in light of the fact that 90% of analysts think the market is headed higher this year
5) Address the differences between PE in 82, debt levels in 82, pent up consumption demand in 82 vs now.

Lay it on the line for us.
I am not trying to be critical, trap you or anything else, I just want a few answers to some simple questions.

If you do not have numbers for #1 and #2 (which I doubt seriously), then just let me know if you were bullish or bearish for those years and show me some posts to prove it (from January or Dec of prior year). Then let's see your numbers for this year.

M

How does everyone hate the market, chief, when equity holding % (individual/fund managers) are closer to historical highs than lows? Your comment doesn't make statistical sense..
