Why should the state have to put them to death? Also, why should the state have to house and feed them for 10 to 12 years while they wait. How about banishment, the practice of the Native Americans?

They are islands around New Guinea and Borneo where the natives build tree houses in the jungle, and are forced to fight for their life against invaders of their turf. They practice cannibalism since daily survival is a battle, and finding sufficient food is a problem. Why can't these convicted killers be banished to these islands? The banishment should be without provisions of any kind, and without any means to defend themselves.

After all, they have already forfeited their right to live in a civilized society. Let them live in a state of constant hunger, and in fear of being eaten by an enemy or a large animal each hour of every day and night.

Unfortunately, from what I perceive about our legal system, for lawyers winning is the ONLY thing.

Win/loss records are for sports, the court's job is to discover the truth.
