In your view where is the problem?

Real Estate, home equity loans, consumption excesses?

I've been very reluctant to buy a bunch of the regional banks that look cheap because of "general fears" about credit excesses. I do own some Washington Mutual that I bought in the low 30s and I worry about that investment for the those reasons. However, I believe the management is fairly competent.

I find the bias of all the network news and radio shows somewhat amusing. I am happy about FOX despite the bias. I think the country needed an alternative to
Pravda and Tass. :-)
