No sense at all of PR or image.

They'll be dancing like dervishes when Saddam gets one or two punches in, as he inevitably will, and lose the American public's good will for a very long time. This loss will of course have political ramifications which won't be favorable to them.

The curious thing is that the PLO has always had a very acute sense of PR and image -- the one they crafted for Western consumption, brave freedom fighters fighting colonial occupiers against long odds, was brilliant -- but they've never tried to actually shape the campaign back home to fit the image; they just go with the flow, which is more and more Islamist these days. They rely on double-talk instead. In the West, "end the occupation!", in the East, "kill the Jews!". In Europe this works well for them, but not in America.
