PwC are no dummies. It's funny under Corporations Law in Australia the Liquidator is mainly looked to press the investigation foward, both criminally and civilly. They can unwind transactions up to 4 years. The ASIC sometimes will investigate first or along with the liquidating firm, as in the case of One Tel and New Tel. The Liquidators are more feared than the ASIC....and we know that is why Malone, Martino, and the rest of the directors involved in those self enriching deals want that deed of company arrangement so badly.
