Well, you need to shut down the computer, Bill, and watch the NFL playoffs: California lose to Florida. And the keep it on for the second playoff meeting in two weeks of the SF Bay area and NYC.

As for the abortion stuff, it's, as we both know, way OT here. My own take, however, is that the Bush folk are hostages on this one. They didn't need the problems they are going to face with a few of the names on the judicial nominee list. Would have been better off to (a) put more moderate names on the list and (b) pay off the extreme right types with some fresh names. But, too bad, they didn't check with me before they did it. And the elements in their party that consider the judicial appointments to be payoff time, are still in control. Perhaps we'll see Bush stomp on his base sometime like Clinton did. I think it's called either good political strategy or courage. Take your pick.
