That was not my point. The point is that if you copy a human (which is heterosexual in its fundamental biology) and then alter it such that it yet maintains its ability to join us in perpetuating our biological existence, then it is us and therefore its fundamental heterosexual nature has not been altered, however it looks.

If you, on the other hand, create from the copied human something that cannot breed with us, then it is not of us. What you in essence did here was copy a human and then killed it, creating something else with the parts.
