I think the impulse is a C wave of the B we've been in for much of the last month in my opinion. The Australian shares of News Corp (NCP.AX) have a nice 5 wave expanding triangle for this B wave. Volume pattern isn't great for a classic TA triangle though. I'm looking at the NDX June-August 1998 H&S as a model where the right shoulder is higher than the left. This formation is only somewhat longer in duration and very similar in pattern.

Morning downhill racer<g>...

i'm going to where it's warm..St Maarten and soon, the heck with snow and cold...

the problem out there in la la land is the mere fact we have pulled back off the Dec 2 nd top and have based nicely here at these upper levels...

2 thursdays ago we had a super duper outside day just like the one at the Oct lows...only we were well ABOVE those lows...

hence..the next leg up...and it starts above 936 SPH3...
