So much for the claim that this intifada is a spontaneous action eminating from the "hearts and minds" of the Palestinian people... Just as the claim that the PA did not order the most recent Fatah suicide bombing is an indirect admission that they had ordered other suicide bombings. Those types of insurrections can't be turned on and off like a faucet.. Particularly if you buy Prof. Sayigh's explanation that Arafat was never quite in control from the start, but being in a tight situation, decided to "escape by running ahead" -- causing a conflagration and riding the wave of violence. This is a standard MO for Arafat.
