Israel needs $18 billion this year to defend itself against an unarmed population that is under the control of an occupying army

For unarmed people, the Palestinians seem to have been blowing things up (including themselves) and shooting Israelis quite regularly. Don't forget, Arafat's army carries M-16s, which we supplied to his "police" force. After he renounced terror.

And of course, Israel needs only to worry about fighting the Palestinians, as nobody else harbors any nasty intentions. Why, Israel is even at peace - with 2 out of 22 Arab states! And I'm sure Iran didn't really mean it when Rafsanjani recommended nuking Tel Aviv, saying it would be well worth the cost.

This guy wants to throw Israel to the wolves so we can make buddy-buddy with all the Arabs, SA and Egypt especially. Note how he never complains about the return on our foreign aid to Egypt. Nothing new from State.
