Well, that certainly seems unfair. But then I've got the opposite problem. My daughter has a creationist biology teacher who has been fighting with the book the whole year. You can imagine how coherent the lectures have been. I think teachers are totally outside the bounds of their authority when they inject their personal beliefs about religion (theistic, atheistic or agnostic) into the classroom. I haven't said anything for the same reason you haven't. I don't want to make things worse for my daughter. And speaking of my daughter, my kids just got home, so I need to go. I'll see you around.
