Re: You could compare some of her writings/opinions of maybe 8-10 years ago, with those of today. You will note changes ... Fairly big ones

8-10 years ago I had very little interest in politics. My writing was minimal and what there was of it was mainly related to pleasant correspondence with family and friends.

What has changed in that time is not that Ms. Thomas and I have become unhinged, but rather that the U.S. government has been hijacked in a judicial coup d'etat and the state is now engaged in a vicious attack on its own citizenry via things like the USA PATRIOT Act, the Homeland Security Act, excessive executive branch secrecy hiding apparent malfeasance, including the government's appalling and immoral efforts to subvert and/or prevent investigations into the events surround 9/11/01.

What Ms. Thomas and I are attempting to do is to sound the alarm that our country has been hijacked by a criminal corporatist cabal.

A few of the slow thinkers, perhaps including you, don't seem to understand the peril our nation is being put in by the Bushista Putsch.

Well, KLP, if Helen Thomas doesn't wet your whistle, so to speak, how 'bout Mary McGrory?
