You guys made me dig out some of my old books. I have Ibbotson Associates "Stocks, Bonds, Bills and Inflation" 1926 to 1993. $1.00 invested at the end of the year in 1925 came to in 1993 compounded annually: Large company stocks $800.08, Inflation Adj = $98.37 Small company stocks $2,757.15 " " " =$338.99 Long Term corp. bonds $40.34 " " =$4.96 Long Term govt. bonds $28.03 " " " =$3.45 U.S "T" bills $11.73 " " " =0.54 cents.
