NEW YORK, Jan 13 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve said on
Monday it added $3.0 billion in temporary reserves to the
banking system by overnight fixed system repurchase
agreements.
The following collateral were accepted:
$2.400 billion in Treasuries, stop-out 1.24 percent;
$0.225 billion in agencies, stop-out 1.27 percent.
$0.375 billion in mortgage-backed, stop-out 1.27 percent.
Federal funds were trading at 1.25 percent, the Fed's
target for the rate, at the time of the operation.
