---OT--- Follow-ups...Re Amat options: The OI of Feb-15 puts is 20581 contracts and the current premium is around $2. So another 9K puts were opened during the past few days. Hopefully some profit taking/short covering from those traders/funds.

Amat Options - 25K Amat Apr 10 puts were opened on Friday(OI=7713...I will update the updated OI number on Tuesday morning) @$.50 premium. IMO 2.5M shares is material. As recorded here, 9K Feb 15 puts were purchased($1 premium) on Jan 10 while Amat was trading above $15...then approx. another 9K Feb 15 puts were opened in the following days....then approx. 15K Mar 10 puts were opened...about 10 days ago(before the warnings). ps. If I were the 10K Feb 15 puts owner....I would have bot 1M Amat shares under/around $12 in the past few days...gave some price support and bot the Apr puts. The shares can be sold for gain$ next week if Amat goes up...then close the Feb puts.....anyway...Imo Amat will visit $10 in the next few months.
