I think, if one is longer-term bear, the healthiest thing in order to lay on good r/r positions....is to have wedgie-like up for the next 1-2 weeks, which gets VIX, VXN, etc. to ridiculous levels (or at least dangerous levels for further upside)... Of course, its likely the shorts that currently have positions on that are so stridently arguing for a turn-around here (ng) I agree that evidence-shift has occured, and you are right to recognize the new possibilities, but I see now the inkling(s) of a real top, namely, that more and more are looking up (not down)
