You report one incidence in which smallpox was deliberately given to one group of Native Americans and extrapolate from that that "the land was taken by force from the Indians."

I do NOT extrapolate from the smallpox incident that the land was taken from Indians. That was an example.

On the other hand, of course settlers from Europe took land by force from Indians, except for a few EXCEPTIONAL examples like Manhattan that was sold.

That one incidence of smallpox being given to one group of Native Americans caused the entire North American land mass to be taken by force?

Are you trying to be funny?

Of course not. It is no secret that native Indians populated those lands before settlers came in from Europe. It is no secret they came with fire arms. It is also no secret that there were bloody fights between Indians and the settlers. And it is no secret that Europeans prevailed.

Can you figure out the rest? Or do I have to hold your hand through the process?

Hint: Indians fought for their land. That is generally a good indication that the land was taken by force.
