g_w, I am surprised that the Tech industry is not engage in any self defense vs. Hollywood. Hollywood is definitely slowing down or destroying technologies that could make Technology companies a lot of money. And apparently the fair use of programming purchased is being thrown out of window. If I am already paying for HDTV HBO, why can't I recorded the same way other programming can be recorded? Why can't my DVD player send the info of the DVD movie to TV in digital form, all of which I paid for? It's not even "fair use", but just plain use. Joe
