It seems as if they were tried by a jury of their peers, that should be it. If there is any doubt, do DNA on all of the cases! Remember when Dukakis was raked over the coals for letting a rapist, free? One other point on the Dukakis comparison: The prison-furlough policy that released Willie Horton and let him rape a Maryland woman was put in place before Kerry became lieutenant governor — and Kerry was in the Senate when Horton was released. No telling what the people set free will do.
