When have I ever said that? You continue to confuse Iraq with the war on terror. Saddam is no friend of islam.

Here we are in another war, and you don't want us to project our power into the middle east for political reasons.

You are right. I don't want political reasons to end up sending this country to yet another war.

Its obvious that, if we would hope for a quick end at low costs, that we must reform the middle east, before they obtain WMD from Korea or Pakistan.

It is a gamble, however, waiting here, and hoping Al Qaeda goes away before they do more damage, is a bigger gamble. If Al Qaeda obtains a nuke from either Korea or Pakistan, it will be unlikely the war can be won without experiencing many times the casualties, we would expect now.

Well, assuming I agree with your logic, Al Qaeda is busy regrouping in other regions of the earth while we commit a huge share of our military in Iraq.
