that could be because after somebody is put to death, the motivation to determine if that person is innocent, is pretty much gone. I would say that there is even a demotivating factor to looking into this. I am not anti_DP and I did not mix the issues up. My objection is to the resistance to adopt a mandatory DNA verification if DNA material exists. This resistance tells me that there is a fundamental flaw in the priorities of many of the states WRT to this matter.
