In respect to ... NOKIA's ... hiring binge in San Diego, one could conclude that something is up. As a former CFO and current financial consultant, I can't count how many times I heard "if we just had more resources - money, people, usually both - we can fulfill our promises." This was always said in the honest belief that the lack of those resources were the reason they had not succeeded to date. It never was. I don't know if this is what is going on with NOK, but one does wonder given the paucity of their CDMA offerings.
