It should be simple, there are two basic differences between POWs and unlawful combatants. The reason you don't want to answer my question, "what is the basis of the Palestinian claim to the land, if not history?" is because you don't want to admit that the answer is "history." Especially the claim of the "right to return" west of the Jordan by Palestinians who never lived west of the Jordan in their entire lives, nor did their parents. Are they Israeli citizens? No. They are presently displaced persons and refugees.
