BPNDX is the bullish percent index for the NDX. A bullish percent is determined by taking the stocks that are in a given group that are on a P&F buy signal and dividing them by the number of stocks in the group, thus giving a percentage of stocks that are bullish.

It's the precentage of stocks in the nazdaq 100 that have given point and figure buy signals(I'm guessing that are in a column of x's?). The theory is that when too large a percentage of stocks are pointed up the index is overbought.
