I don't. Emphatically and categorically. And that's the very source of our difference in emphasis between "proven" and "possibly" innocent.

The thousands of lives saved through deterrence are indeed worth one innocent life -- if anyone could find one.

Again - in your opinion. And if that deterrence could be proven, which is essentially impossible.

Ironically, you claimed early in this exchange that it's "difficult" to "prove a negative."
