An interesting pespective.

I remember back, not so long ago, when the standard McDonald's hamburger, little bag of fries, and small soda was considered a full sized meal.

From what I read, the body's satiety mechanism takes awhile to get the message from the stomach to the brain that it's full, during which time we keep eating when our bodies really don't want more food.

That's why some nutritionists say that browsing during the day, as long as you browse on healthy foods and not chips and cookies, is the best strategy. Sort of line grazing cows.

After all, there's no indication that cavemen sat down to three meals a day at regular intervals.
