Petz,

Thats all fine and good, but how do you tell SuSe to use drivers off of another CD during installation?

I have no idea how Linux handles it, but Windows gives you a chance to pause, and stick a floppy (or another CD) during installation for unknown devices. You really need it only if you have a completely oddball disk controller card.

In RedHat there's an option for a custom install (which basically is to add a driver) - isn't there some similar option during a suse install?
