Pete, I'm not married to SuSe 8.1, but I just bought it for $80, so I want to try and get it working. Also, I wanted to get experience with it, since they have been working closely with AMD for a 64-bit version for Hammer. I have my old 300 Mhz PII. I'm going to try and install it there, and then try your idea to build it with the nVidia drivers. I'm also going to try and contact Suse and ASUS on the matter. I do not have broadband, but a friend does, if I need to download anything big. Thanks to you and others for the suggestions. I had a sneaky suspicion that I'd get a few if I posted my problem on this thread. Pravin.
