I scanned the links, noted the items that you listed in the appendix on the first one, then assumed you had different items in the remainder. Three things leapt out at me this time around: 1. In response to this question: If you want to evaluate the status of democracy and human rights under the Palestinian Authority, you would say it is:, the large increase between 96 and 02, of respondents saying it was bad or very bad. My calculations went from 22.8% in 96 to 52.5% in 02. 2. That's paralleled by a similarly large increase, but from a much smaller beginning point, in terms of an evaluation of Israeli democracy. Those numbers go from 6.9% in 96 to 27.5% in 02. 3. Each time the Palestinian respondents are far more likely to see problems in democracy and human rights with the PA than in Israel, but, at the same time, the percentages seeing such problems increase during the period.
