Bill--Good to see you around.
I closed my Altair short too soon. I also got a piece of Turbochef though. I did nail PPOD, I was surprised that little darling missed your radar.
I wonder why these companies always focus on the evil shorts. They don't touch on the things that brought the shorts around in the first place like scams, unworkable products, unsellable products, balance sheets with no income and massive losses, and company officers with previous stock fraud convictions. I guess we just focus too much on the negative Lord knows I have been told that enough on talk boards.
My favorite short was GERN. My friend and I would watch it and when it started gapping up for four or five days with a steady uptrend we would long it, wait for the 'great' news to break (like they bought the Dolly cloning company) then we would flip and short it down. Funny thing about that company it would always show the same pattern of uptrend right before the news broke.
Again good to see you.
