Sounds too high grade to be of much use. What can you do with anything over an ounce? when it gets too rich you have to throw too much of it away as the mills just won't process it. So I have heard.

Their main resource at McFinley is only 0.20. They had better go on a hunt for the rich stuff. Only think that will sell in these times unless you can piece together about 15 million tons of it in a hurry.

Nobody wanted to hear about vein material in the 70's and 80's. Brokers. As if they knew bugger all about mining. You would think they all had PhD's in mining engineering with 30 years on a drill.

What we want to do is just drill about 100 holes and go underground right away. We know we can mine it, drilling is just a guide.

I know some people who can beat McFinley by about 750,000 ounces and its all over 0.36. Much of it is 0.50 ounce per ton and all engineered to mining width. What do you think about that? Worth throwing a buck into? I would think so.

Drill hole by drill hole ~might~ make it. I would not hold out too high hopes.s Drilling is show. Really. You have to figure a mine is there with some deep thinking. Best "step out" is sink a shaft. Jim Norrie used to do it. After 3 holess. Never missed. Imagine that. Today's boys who just stand at the top and drill to make a picture, are leaving more than half the ore in the ground.
