Whatever happened in the past is the past. Mistakes made were unfortunate but we live now. It's murders in the future that I want not to occur. Tell your side of the story to victims of repeat killers and see their reaction. I don't know the exact number but I believe that I read somewhere that 7 or 8% of murderers kill a second or more times, either in prison, when they escape, or when they are simply freed. This does include killings classed as manslaughter however.
We had another case in Canada where a murderer in jail killed his wife when she came for a conjugal visit at the trailer on the prison site. Mind you the woman was stupid, she was one of those who met him in prison, married him within the jail. His surname was Williams.
