Not when it started out, no. It has gone through some rennovation recently, at least the one by us has. They built another from scratch up in Kingwood that's very fancy.

There used to be an old retired guy who had butchering tools and a smokehouse. The first part of October he'd show up in town and take sausage orders. Bulk, link, breakfast links, smoked, not smoked, Eyetalian, brats, spicy, medium, mild, he did it all custom.

The one thing he always told his customers was to cook the sausage in an electric skillet and put a plate under two of the legs so the fat would run off.
