I dont see Intel as harbinger of tech economy
certainly a vital component
I do respect their diversification into memory and telecom
but they may be spread too thin there

less spending, reduce fabs built, cutbacks

I dont think a recovery comes from cutbacks
it comes from balance sheet cleansing
e.g. bankruptcies, defaults, writedowns, impairments

it is gonna be sad watching America slowly liquidate
