In quibbling here i would just add the adjective 'poisonous' to modify 'snake', and then agree completely, yes damn right it does -

'Your position assumes all "humans" are more worthy of life than your average snake'

You see, here in Lotusland, the pacific coast of the g.w.n., the snakes are innocuous, beneficial, they eat insects and don't have venom .... very important to make these distinctions, i think
