in 2001 it was World Trade Center
in 2002 it was corporate scandals
in 2003 it will be Iraq
what will it be in 2004 ???

my guess is sharply higher energy prices
but they will hit the scene later this year
which will have serious consumer spending and corp earnings implications

if not that, then state fiscal stress
see California and NewYork
which will have serious tax and job consequences

or both, yeah yeah like that, BOTH
