I have to hand it to INTC, they really do seem to keep their comments realistic. Notice that their guidance is cautious but does mention the possible impetus for increased business. 18:12 ET INTC Intel says no pattern suggesting return of corporate demand (17.79 +0.41) -- Update -- In response to question, says corporate purchases can be characterized as anecdotal, but thus far, there has been no clear pattern to suggest corporate demand has returned... stresses that installed base is aging and is approaching a point where machines need to be replaced purely from a cost and productivity standpoint... INTC +0.15 at 17.94
