Interesting. I have wondered if the possibility exists that were are moving our troops into a trap. Once in place either a terrorist or Saddam himself exposes our troops to a nuclear or biological weapon. The problem with my theory is its too obvious. However, the reality of the situation is this - should a nuclear, biological or chemical device go off in any part of the globe it will rattle people to the core. Its like the Maslows hierarchy of needs pyramid. All of a sudden we're worried about much more than money and thus we get knocked down a few pegs & so does the market

Pure speculation on my part.

I don't believe that is the reason for Iraq, but as an ancillary factor, it's a very interesting idea. Thanks.
