Diamondex's landholdings crowned with King and Kingfish

Diamondex Resources Ltd DSP

Wed 15 Jan 2003 News Release
Mr. Randy Turner reports
ACQUISITION OF THE KING EAST AND KINGFISH PROPERTIES
Diamondex Resources has recently acquired through staking an additional
153,213 acres in the southern Slave province of the Northwest Territories.
Two significant blocks have been acquired and are as follows:
Kingfish property, Northwest Territories
The Kingfish property comprises 64 mineral claims totalling 140,300 acres.
This property is situated between the Camsell Lake claim block, which hosts
the Snap Lake diamond deposit, of De Beers Canada Mining Inc. and the AK
property, which hosts the Kennady Lake diamondiferous kimberlites
(including 5054, Hearne and Tuzo pipes) held by De Beers Canada Exploration
Inc., Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. and Camphor Ventures.
King east property, Northwest Territories
The King east property comprises five claims totalling 12,913 acres and
adjoins immediately to the southeast corner of the King property held by
the company. This property also adjoins the northeast corner of the Camsell
Lake property, which hosts the Snap Lake diamond deposit. Previous drilling
by the company on the King property has confirmed the down-dip extension of
the Snap Lake deposit (as reported in Stockwatch on Dec. 5, 2001).
Diamondex considers these acquisitions very significant, which will add to
its strategic landholdings in the southern Slave province. The company
currently holds interest in approximately 1.4 million acres (net) in the
Northwest Territories and Nunavut, all considered highly prospective for
diamond exploration. Exploration programs on the recent acquisitions as
well as the other Diamondex landholdings in the southern Slave will be
disclosed in the near future.
David Clarke, PGeol, MSc, vice-president of exploration for Diamondex
Resources Ltd., is a qualified person as defined by National Instrument
43-101 and is responsible for program design and quality control of
exploration undertaken by Diamondex Resources Ltd.
