I am surprised that 43% approve of Bush's handling of the Budget. Watch that figure drop to 33% when people discover the reality of the budget news.

Bush's only hope is more terrorism. And that's no hope at all. His ratings are sliding as they did pre-9/11 since they have no interest or competence in running the country, only looting it. They'll continue to slide unless/until there is another "event". Hubris will be their downfall on the next one, however, since there is too much skepticism and information in the public domain. The critics will go head-to-head with the administration's attempts at stonewalling facts surrounding the next disaster. With '04 approaching, they should just take their trillions and go home. We'll know better next time.
