(NEC has the advantage of the deep pockets to provide vendor financing.) Vendor financing is tricky/risky business... look at what happened to LU among others... (e.g., when Winstar went under). I'm glad tha STXN doesn't stick its neck out too far in this area. (Price is what sells.) So a deep-pocket competitor can slash industry margins by chopping the price... but (unless that competitor has REALLY deep pockets) its the low-cost producer that wins in the long run. My impression is that STXN has stressed customer value in its products for a long time... so I would think STXN should be among the lowest-cost producers and the winning competitors as well since, for a given set of product features, STXN products would offer the lowest overall operating cost for the customer. Or are you saying that customers are looking at the initial sticker price without regard for the overall operating cost? STXN is no longer dropping. I like to buy when it dips to the $2 level... assuming I can scrape together more cash. Full recovery will still take some time but, if you have some patience, I think it will be rewarding to accumulate more shares now. Rob
