Thanks for correcting the details found in survivin's post:
For Q4, Lehman Brothers expects the No. 2 chipmaker to announce a 36 percent sequential increase in revenue for a total $698 million and an EPS loss of 50 cents per share.

"We believe processor ASPs rebounded over 25 percent quarter-over-quarter while units shipped increased almost 20 percent to over six million units," Niles said. "End consumption passed eight million units for the first time resulting in AMD draining another two million units out of the channel and finally reaching normal levels. This lack of inventory burn could enable AMD to achieve flattish revs quarter-over-quarter in Q1 vs. our down 7 percent, despite a likely 10-15 percent drop in end consumption."

Interesting how AMD often gets called the "#2 chipmaker!"

End-user demand of 8M AMD chips, if true, could mean the highest market share of computer sales in AMD's history.
