Al, <I maintain that if all the folks in the US had an equal chance of serving or having their children serve in the wars our leaders get us mixed up in, then....>

Two fallacies with this argument:

1) The percentage of families with relatives currently serving in the military would not change (and it's not that big a percentage in the first place).

2) Body bags coming from overseas will shape public opinion regardless of whether we have a draft or not.

But of course, that won't stop liberals from taking another choice away from average Americans just to impose their beliefs on others.
