Hi Chip, I'm truly blessed to have filets Jan and I caught In Valdez last August. We make an annual trip to fish Salmon in Alaska. My all time favorite picture of my wife - is of her holding this big beautiful Silver Salmon that she caught on light tackle. Her smile beams like a little girls. We'll be back in Valdeze the last week of August to repeat it. A life with out enjoying and learning about natures vast wealth would be a terrible waste. My Dad taught me the beauty of nature and sacred joy of mastering it many secrets which is proven by the kill (harvest). To this day I thank the maker whenever I take one of his beasts. I attempt to never harvest that which I won't eat. Many do not understand this love of nature and the harvesting of it.Some confuse harvesting exotic raised animals with hunting.JMHO Bob
