tgp,

Not hard to figure out where the Revenue grew from.

There is no borrowing between revenues and account receivables. Revenues stand on their own, and the only thing the receivables are directly connected to is cash.

Actually, declining account receivables may be a bit of a predictor or just a something that reflects seasonality of the Q4. Generally there Q4 is stronger because of Christmas, and the logistics of this is that Q3 is back loaded, Q4 is front loaded. So if most of the Q3 sales happened in the last month, the cash would still not be collected by the end of the quarter. Q4 being more front loaded means that more of the cash is be collected by the end of Q4 quarter.

Re: <Revenue grew 11% sequentially, about 4% more than recently revised Street estimates.>

Q4 2002 Q3 2002
Net revenue $7,160 $6,504
Accounts receivable $2,574 $3,089

Not hard to figure out where the Revenue grew from.

TGP, I think the revenue increase is real.

In any case, the reason I posted the article was not because of the comments on INTC but for the overall outlook which Kurlak [and I agree] thinks is appearing more bullish.

I didn't have time to post all that this AM.....sorry!

<<Not hard to figure out where the Revenue grew from.>>

What you are implying is not possible.
