Sig,
Hi!!

RE: Message 18448246

Good points...My dad went long on DELL years ago based on that word: "confidence" (brought back four rolls of film on our "tour" of the yet opened Parmer facility and undeveloped land) The possible visual expansion that DELL has in Round Rock is impressive...To say the least...Add Tennessee and other possibles...Well, WHY?? is the question one would ask if the plans were not for growth...IF being off was a question...WHY have the massive capabilities? Find it hard to be "off" by that much...
As for cash...DELL's ability to make cash prior to using any is the envy of the corporate world...I can recall an article in the Austin Statesman (waaaay back) that clearly defined why DELL was a "cashcow"...And, of course, there are numerous articles that have alluded to DELL's performance during this funk and have credited DELL's cash making abilities as one of the reasons why investors possibly sought shelter after the collapse of the markets...Likewise, many have commented on CNBC that they believe (if that means anything :o)..)that the ones with the cash (following this collapse)will be the ones first to move...Additionally, Michael has numerous times implied that their model is preparing for this throughout...Without the cash...I don't see how anyone could do much of anything...This is not the case...

Best, Kemble
